Ghana: killer clothing
Each day, Ghana takes delivery of 160 tonnes of second-hand clothes, symbols of western overconsumption. In Accra they are sold at the Kantamanto market, but most end up in the canals or on the beaches, a danger for public health and causing pollution that reaches far beyond Ghana's borders.
A report by Nicolas Bertrand, Marianne Getti, Céline Marchand for "Collection Reportages", the TV5MONDE magazine programme.
Guests: Marianne Getti, independent journalist; Florian Kasser.
Presented by: Dominique Laresche.
