Forced sterilisations in Greenland

March 2024. More than a hundred women are suing the Danish government for its involvement in forced contraception campaigns in Greenland. They allege an enterprise of "coordinated sterilisation" to reduce the birth rate in a majority Inuit region, which at the time was a colony of Denmark.
