Soudeni, Benjemy and Bouthaina Nabouli (Benboo), Chrystelle, Melvina Mestre
Honey with a dose of harissa pop! Between Tunis and Paris, Soudeni sings in both Arabic and French with titles such as "Maalouf My Love", "Quand" (When) and "Pyromance". She is in concert on 6 July 2024, for the 4th Tunis sur Seine music festival, at the Aubervilliers Point Fort. A veritable musical marathon featuring artists from the worlds of alternative Arabic music along with pop, reggae and electro, such as Benboo. The latter is a duo born of a meeting between Bouthaina Nabouli and the DJ producer Benjemy. Together on stage they alternate between vocals, percussion, lute and more contemporary rhythms.
Chrystelle grew up between France, Lebanon and Côte d'Ivoire. After her first band Hushh, she played Mary Magdalene in the musical "Jésus, de Nazareth à Jérusalem" (Jesus, from Nazareth to Jerusalem), with music by Pascal Obispo, alongside Mike Massy. She launches "Implicite", her first solo project with her label Grand Méchant Loup, and performs "Mon Père" (My Father), with the guitarist Raphaël Arbib, to coincide with Fathers' Day, celebrated on 21 June in Lebanon and Egypt.
A new investigation by the detective Gabrielle Kaplan, set in Morocco under the French protectorate of the 1950s. The bodies of two prostitutes wearing the same tattoo are found in Casablanca. The investigation leads to Bousbir, the city's famous red light district. Melvina Mestre is the author of the crime novel "Sang d'Encre à Marrakech: une enquête de Gabrielle Kaplan" (published by Points).
