Oum Kalthoum, Fayrouz, Asmahan, Laila Mourad, Warda Al-Jazairia, Sabah, Dalida... The exhibition "Divas", being held from 12 May to 25 July 2021 at the Arab World Institute, pays tribute to these timeless icons who have ensured their voices carry far beyond the Mediterranean. The destinies of these exceptional singers mingled with the birth of feminism in the patriarchal societies of the 20th century. Some even played a frontline role in their country's struggle for independence. Strategic director for the AWI, Romain Pigenel invites us for a preview of the exhibition.

Alice and her imaginary companions, the White Rabbit who's forever running late, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum... More than seventy-two artists offer a new look at Lewis Caroll's famous story, in the form of a musical performed on stage at the Théâtre de l'Opéra , Cité de la Culture in Tunis. "Alice", an adaptation in the Tunisian dialect by Oussama Mhidi.

She bears the first name of an invincible Berber queen; Kahina Bahloul is the first woman imam in France. In "Mon Islam, Ma Liberté" (My Islam, My Freedom), published by Albin Michel, Kahina Bahloul recounts her personal experience, at the crossroads between Algeria and France, between Islam, Judaism, Christianity and atheism.
