Son soutien à la littérature, Vera Michalski Hofmann le réalise comme éditrice, à la tête du groupe Libella qui chapeaute notamment les éditions Noir sur blanc, Les Cahiers dessinés ou Buchet/Chastel. Mais aussi en tant que mécène, à la tête de la Fondation Jan Michalski. Deux actions. Un seul engagement.
