Hamida Aman (Afghanistan)

Fleeing Kabul aged 6, Hamida Aman grew up in Lausanne, where she learnt journalism. After September 11th, she went back to Afghanistan and created the 'Begum Organization for Women', then Radio Begum, presented by and for women. Faced with Taliban censorship, she launched TV Begum in France.

Dalila Ait Taleb (Algeria)

Wedded by force in Kabylia, Dalila came to Paris very young, forced to follow her husband. Between violence and financial hardship, she found the strength to free herself and try her hand at a traditionally male profession: taxi driver. She explains her struggle to take her future in hand again.

JonOne (United States)

Born in Harlem, of Dominican parents, JonOne grew up in a difficult context before moving to France, in 1987. Initially a street artist, he became a major contemporary artist, mixing a blend of New-Yorker and French influences, and different origins. The self-taught artist welcomes Magloire in his workshop in Roubaix.
