Summer 2021 kept everyone waiting. For weeks, early each morning the Appenzeller cheese-makers studied the weather for the first signs of summer. Finally, on 17 June, they could head to the Alpine pastures. We meet the Räss family who run the Furgglenalp, and some of those living in eastern Switzerland.
