On the very edge of Paris, the department of the Oise is home to some architectural gems. We visit the sumptuous Domaine de Chantilly, completely rebuilt by the Duke of Aumale in the 19th century, and the majestic Beauvais Cathedral, proud of having wanted to be the tallest in Europe.
